DVD Recorders
DVD Recorders are now common place.
They have much better quality playback than VHS recordings and the disc's occupy far less space for storage.
Combined DVD/VHS recorders are available, enabling you to copy your favourite tapes to DVD.
DVD's are also available with a HARD DISC DRIVE. This means that you can record direct to the Hard Drive instead of a disc. If at some later time you wish to save the recording, you can then transfer from the Hard Drive to a blanc Disc for safe keeping.
SOme DVD Recorders use a certain format and need to have the correct disc's;
DVD-RW
OR
DVD+RW
Make sure when you buy your new recorder that you buy the correct type of disc for your recorder.
